Erme Ward Refurbishment Works, Derriford Hospital, Plymouth

This 16-week project involved the complete refurbishment of Erme ward to create a larger space and improved ambience for patients admitted into the department. The process required the complete strip-out of the old ward in order to upgrade it into a modernised and efficient patient environment. Red Rock Electrical worked alongside Nevada Construction and Brothwell Irvine on this project. Using advanced skills and hi-tech materials, together we provided hospital/recovery beds with specialist medical trunkings, uninterruptible power supplies, scene lighting, swipe access systems, structured cabling, fire alarm, CCTV, panic alarm and nurse call systems. This project was completed in July 2021 and is now a fully functioning part of the hospital.
