A 5-acre holiday complex in South Devon, comprising 20 woodland lodges, 15 courtyard lodges, 15 apartments, a 3-storey leisure complex, staff accommodation and back-of-house / amenity buildings.
Phase one of this project, carried out in 2015, saw the transformation of the existing Victorian mansion house on the site into 9 individual luxury apartments. Red Rock Electrical installed high-specification lighting and power, utilising contemporary light fittings and wiring accessories. The building was also fitted with a video door entry system and addressable fire alarm.
We returned in 2017 for the development of the remainder of the site. This began with the construction of 20 holiday lodges split across 7 blocks nestled within the existing woodland. A 3-storey grand apartment block joined the existing mansion house to a further 15 courtyard lodges. Luxury hot tubs were installed for the majority of the lodges.
To complement the accommodation on offer, a 3-storey leisure complex was constructed, with a luxury spa and treatment rooms, gym, restaurant, bar and terrace. Staff accommodation, maintenance and amenity buildings completed the development.
A circa £1.5M contract, Red Rock Electrical undertook the design-and-build of both the electrical and mechanical installations to all buildings on the site, including centrally-networked fire alarms and access control and CCTV infrastructure, commercial kitchen services, air source heat pumps and underfloor heating systems, ventilation and site-wide services infrastructure.
